Happy Easter

Well here's to another busy week. We have been watching the family car wash again while Deven's parents are in Australia for his dad's work. We don't mind helping out but it keeps Gracie and I busy. We still tried to squeeze in some Easter fun. Gracie went to her first primary activity. They had an Easter egg hunt at the church. She had fun gathering up some Easter eggs. We finally got to die Easter eggs on Sunday afternoon. This is the first year she has really gotten into it so it was a lot of fun. Of course the Easter bunny found her, she woke up really early to see what he left her. With Deven's parents gone we had a small Easter dinner with Grandpa Dell. But it was fun. He told us lots of stories and we always enjoy hearing about his adventures. We had a simple but great Easter and hope everybody else had the same. So Happy Easter everyone!!! Love the Cox's

Road Trip

Road Trip.... We haven't done one of these in our family for a while so we were excited. We were heading back to Arizona for Lisa's wedding reception down there. Gracie and Sarah were so excited when we pulled into Phoenix. It had been a long road trip but they had there sun glasses all ready, and nice weather it was. I had been looking forward to some sun for a long time. We got to go back to Phoenix zoo which was a big hit for all the kids. The rest of the time they spent at Uncle Matt's house swimming and working on there golfing skills. They couldn't get enough of the good weather. But by the time the reception rolled around Saturday afternoon, Gracie crashed and slept through half the reception. It was a lot of fun to road trip it with my whole family of course the kids had their moments, but they did pretty good. We only wish we could have stayed longer there was so much we wanted to do and lucky us hit a huge snow storm on the way home, that really made Deven and I miss our home in Arizona this was our favorite time of year there.

Happy Birthday Gracie Girl

Well it is hard for us to believe, but Gracie is 4. We had a small party with Deven's family and close friends. Gracie chose a unicorn party. Time has flown by. I still remember how small Gracie was when we started medical school and we kept saying Gracie will be 4 yrs old when you graduate. It seemed so far away and I thought we would never be done with school, but time has flown and Gracie really is 4 and we really will be done with school in a couple of months. As I look back on this journey I can't believe all that has happened and all that hasn't happened. We are just so thankful each day that we have at least been blessed with Gracie and love all of her personality and all the joy that she brings into our lives. We love you Gracie, Happy 4th Birthday!!!
